Dry CO2 gas bath
Dry gas bath, or the “gas envelope,” is a procedure during which guests are enclosed in a large plastic bag and rest comfortably on a bed. The bag is sealed under arms and filled with the already-mentioned Mary’s gas, which is absorbed through clothing and skin in the body. It reduces blood pressure and slows down the cardiac activity. It has anti-inflammatory effects and improves the functioning of kidneys and blood circulation. Another interesting effect is stimulating the production of sexual hormones – testosterone and oestradiol, which in turn improves the sexual function and in women it provides relief from symptoms of the menopause. You can experience this procedure in Danubius hotels only.
Gas injections with CO2
In this procedure, the Mary’s gas is applied using a needle under the skin around big joints and the spine. The main effect is pain reduction, improvement of blood circulation in the given area, and accelerated healing. Gas injections also help with disorders of blood circulation in extremities, ischaemic heart disease, or degenerative conditions of joints and spine with a painful syndrome.
Mary’s gas lake with oxygenotherapy
An absolute rarity in the Czech balneology – come and experience this procedure in Marianske Lazne! The origins of this procedure go back to 1905. It is based on using a special pool where guests are seated waist-deep in natural CO2 rising right from the Mary’s Spring. It is combined with oxygenotherapy, improving the blood circulation in the whole body and haemoglobin oxygen saturation. As a result, it has a very positive effect on cell regeneration, slowing down the aging process (the anti-aging effect). On top of that, video-projections and other accompanying relaxing effects will enhance your good feeling. You can experience this procedure in Danubius hotels only.
