The spring supports the treatment of the following diseases:

Ferdinand Spring is the last spring used for drinking cures. This spring is situated in a park toward Usovice (approx. 1.5 km from the centre). The Ferdinand Spring is very heavily mineralized, containing over 10 grams of mineral salts per litre. It is so salty that in the past it was used for the production of digestive salt, the so-called Tepelska sul or Marianskolazenska sul. At present, the utilization of this spring is being planned. For drinking cure, this spring may only be used upon consent of your physician.
When is it accessible and to whom?
The spring is freely available to the public every day from 6.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.. It is inaccessible only during the period from October to April (the winter season)

The drinking cure is a complex process, it should always be considered that a certain kind of water is suitable for specific problems but it can be highly inappropriate for other disorders. The drinking therapy must always be consulted with a physician because improperly applied drinking cure may cause harm.
