The spring supports the treatment of the following diseases:
- Kidney and urinary tract diseases
- Musculoskeletal system diseases
The Rudolph Spring is absolutely unique mineral water. It is a well-known fact that the Rudolph Spring is used primarily for inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract. The Rudolph Spring contains a large volume of calcium and a big volume of magnesium with only very few sodium. This water is highly suitable for treating elderly patients because the high calcium content acts favourably against osteoporosis. Magnesium is great for the functioning of neurons, cardiac cells, muscle cells and it is a natural antioxidant. A low sodium volume is beneficial because it does not retain water in the body. In the past, the Rudolph Spring used to be prescribed primarily for kidney diseases.
When is it accessible and to whom?
The spring is freely available to the public in the Rudolph Spring Pavilion every day from 6.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and in the Cross Spring Pavilion from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.. Only during the period from October to April (the winter season) both pavilions are closed.
Where can the spring be found?
The Rudolph Spring is located in the Rudolph Spring Pavilion in Usovice and in the Cross Spring Pavilion on the colonnade. Please refer to the map.
The drinking cure is a complex process, it should always be considered that a certain kind of water is suitable for specific problems but it can be highly inappropriate for other disorders. The drinking therapy must always be consulted with a physician because improperly applied drinking cure may cause harm.
